An interview with Anna from English Fluency Journey

I hear this a lot: “Hadar, but I don’t live in an English speaking country. There’s no way I can really improve”. The belief that the only way to master English is by speaking with native-speakers or moving to an English speaking country is false.

Anna is a perfect example of that.

Anna, born and raised in Ukraine, started as an English learner and became an English teacher and even opened a YouTube channel where she talks about her English journey.

And she did that without visiting an English speaking country even once,

without having native speakers around,

and despite being criticized by others.

In this episode, I invited her to talk about her journey and to share the most valuable strategies that have helped her succeed.

Anna is also a student of the Accent Makeover program, and she’s going to share how the course has helped her become more confident and clear.

I hope you enjoyed it!

All the best,

Hadar

  2. Hello: I live in US for long time, and I am an artist. I spend a lot of time trying to work on my art and neglected my speech development. I don’t feel I am able to express my thought clearly and effectively. I sign up with ToastMaster to improve my public specking. although I am 65 years old, but I am tired for not being able to express my knowledge to the fullest.
