  1. Hadar,

I am a native English speaker who is trying to help a neighbor from Pakistan, whose native language is Urdu, make himself understood. He reads, writes, and speaks English quite well, but despite my having spent time in India & Sri Lanka, where I understood people’s English fairly well, I can hardly understand anything this man says in English. I speak English and German and have taught both languages for years. Is there a simple way to help him better pronounce our language so we can understand him?
