In New Sound I learned intonation, word stress, and reductions, and now I feel more freedom in speaking and listening. I understand native and nonnative English speakers more easily. Before New Sound I needed to use closed captions in work meetings, but now I don’t need that anymore because I understand my colleagues, clients, and customers much better. I’m very grateful for that. I don’t feel guilty anymore about making mistakes. And since I have all the New Sound materials I can keep practicing.
