As a school teacher, I have to speak English with students and parents. I used to intentionally avoid talking to parents whenever I could. I only engaged in small talk and preferred to stay behind the scenes. But after New Sound, I realized I’m improving! I received great feedback from my reviews from parents this quarter. My boss has noticed as well and even asked me to train the new, American employees. I’m taking on new responsibilities and showing off my strengths at work. It feels like I can finally breathe!
