The best thing I learned was listening skills. Before this program I was always thinking, “How can I be heard? How can I speak so people understand and listen to me?” So I started to listen to what other people wanted to say to me, and that changed me tremendously. I realized that the question is not just “How can I be good at speaking English?” but if you want to be heard you have to listen to other people. I want to thank everyone in New Sound for listening to me when I speak. You try to understand us without any bias. That’s the most important thing, in any language. Now I can move forward, I can be better. I can change myself.
