English spelling is really confusing. You’re probably already familiar with the fact that English is not a phonetic language but when it comes to names – everything becomes even crazier 🙂 Because even though there are some patterns, sometimes the same spelling can be pronounced differently by different people with the same name.
And sometimes names are just difficult to pronounce because they have a challenging transition of sounds.
